THINK WE FOUND YOUR DOG?!

Do you think we might of found your dog?! We are SO excited!!

Approximately 93% of dogs that get out are reunited with their owners and we are so happy we can be apart of that reunification!

If your dog has a current dog license or if they are already altered and microchipped, we can most likely arrange same day pick up.

When you come to pick up your lost dog you will need to bring the following-

  • a properly sized collar, with an ID tag with your name and number on it.

  • a leash

  • a copy or picture of their current dog license

Return To Owner Fees:

Our small nonprofit organization incurs expenses related to rescuing, housing and taking care of the lost animals we rescue.  All fees must be paid in cash when picking up your pet:

1. $50.00 intake fee – this fee covers a small portion of the costs incurred by our nonprofit organization for conducting an intake exam, administering first aid if required for minor wounds, cleaning ears and trimming nails, etc.

2. $30.00 per night for discounted rescue boarding

3. The cost of all veterinary care (including treatment for illness or injury, spay/neuter surgery, vaccines, deworming, flea and tick treatments, etc.).  Please note that under Arizona law, all animals must be spayed or neutered before leaving a shelter; you will be responsible for the related veterinary costs if your animal is not already sterilized.

4. The cost of any required bathing, grooming, or de-matting.

All animals must be reclaimed with a scheduled appointment. If you feel that you are no longer able to keep your pet, or keep them safe, you may choose to surrender your pet to the shelter and we will place the animal up for adoption.

If your dog is not licensed, microchipped or altered, pickup might take a bit longer.

The following is taken directly from Arizona Statute: 11-1022. Sterilization of impounded dogs and cats.

F. A dog shall not be released to its owner from a county, city or town pound or from an animal shelter unless one of the following applies:

1. The dog has a current dog license pursuant to section 11-1008 at the time the dog entered the pound or shelter.

2. The dog has been sterilized and implanted with a microchip for the purposes of identification at the dog owner's expense.

If your dog is unaltered and does not have a current dog license upon intake, they must be altered and microchipped (at the owner’s expense) before leaving.
